Used in pulp-type beverages, protein beverages, etc., it can increase the thickness of the beverage and stabilize the suspension of each component. Because xanthan gum is pseudo-plastic, it is used to thicken beverages without stickiness, and has good fragrance. Using CMC as a colloidal protective agent, combined with xanthan gum can prevent the beverage from coagulating. Xanthan gum can also be used in solid powder beverages with a standard dosage of 1%.
