The research of ceramic filtration mainly focuses on two aspects: one is the material of the ceramic filter, including the manufacturing process and performance of the ceramic filter; the second is the structure of the ceramic filter, including the shape, placement, filtration mechanism and filtration of the filter effect.
The selection of the filter material should be based on the type of inclusions to be removed by the filter, and the creep resistance and thermal vibration resistance of the material should also be considered. A large number of experimental results show that the material, porosity and inner surface roughness of the ceramic filter affect the filtering effect.
The structure of the ceramic filter is determined by its material. According to the different materials, the ceramic filter can be divided into two categories: foam ceramic filter and particulate ceramic filter.
