Ceramic Filter Corrosion Resistance

Ceramic filters usually have extremely good acid resistance, and are stable to all acids except hydrofluoric acid under high temperature conditions. Acid resistance is affected by factors such as the blending of the binder, firing conditions, and aggregate quality. In order to obtain filters with excellent alkali resistance and steam resistance, specially formulated binders are required. The carbon filter has excellent alkali resistance.
